Marshall Electrical.

Electrician

Renovations & new builds in Plainland.

Full electrical fit-outs, from slab to final test.

Renovating the kitchen, adding a granny flat, building the forever home: the electrical plan decides how the place lives day to day.

We rough-in, fit off and certify the lot, working with your builder and, more importantly, with how your family actually uses a house.

Plan the house you will live in.

Power points behind bedheads, a switch at both ends of the hallway, outdoor power where the barbecue will actually go. On paper these are details; for the next thirty years they are daily life.

Before rough-in we walk the plans with you, room by room, and mark the real positions. Moving a point on paper is free. Moving it after plaster costs real money, and nobody ever regrets the extra hour of planning.

Working in with the build.

Builds run on sequence, and the sparky who misses rough-in week costs everyone a fortnight. We turn up when the frames are ready, get the cabling and boxes in clean, and come back for fit-off when the painters are done.

Your builder gets a licensed contractor who answers the phone and hits dates. You get one electrical contact from slab to handover.

Wired for what is coming.

Houses being built around Plainland today will still be running in 2060, so we rough in for the future while the walls are open: conduit paths for solar, capacity for an EV charger, data points where work-from-home actually happens, three-phase provision if the block might ever want it.

Provisioning during the build costs a fraction of retrofitting, and it is the cheapest insurance a new home can buy.

Certification and handover.

Every new circuit is tested, every board labelled, every certificate issued before we call a job done. You get a labelled board that any future electrician can read, the paperwork your certifier and insurer want, and our number for the day you want one more power point.

Most of our renovation clients come back exactly that way, one more point at a time.

Fair questions

Renovations & new builds FAQs.

When should the electrician get involved in a build?

At plan stage, before the slab if possible. Early input on the switchboard position, meter and future provisions saves genuine money later.

Can you work with my builder?

Yes, that is normal. We coordinate rough-in and fit-off around their schedule and stay in their loop, not just yours.

Should I wire for solar and an EV now?

Provision for both while walls are open, even if you buy neither this year. The conduit and capacity cost little now and hundreds to thousands later.

Do you do small renovations too?

Absolutely. A kitchen refresh or a single new room gets the same planning walk-through and the same certification as a full build.
